BOSTON (AP) - Gas prices continue to fall in Massachusetts, down to an average $1.87 per gallon of self-serve, regular.

AAA Northeast said in its weekly survey released Monday that the price has gone down eight cents in the past week.

The price is 28 cents lower than it was this time last year. It’s also two cents lower than the national average of $1.89.

AAA says the price of crude oil is about $30 per barrel, its lowest price in 12 years.
