EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - A 17-year-old El Dorado teenager has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man earlier this month.

The El Dorado News-Times reports (https://bit.ly/1NxEutk ) that the boy was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder and possession of a handgun by a minor. He’s being held on $1 million bond.

Police Capt. Kevin Holt says the boy was arrested Friday for the Jan. 6 shooting death of 33-year-old Gregory Ford at Ford’s home.

Holt says detectives are still trying to confirm a motive for the shooting and that more arrests are expected.
