LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - The University of Wyoming has been designated as having a bike-friendly campus, but officials say there is still room for improvement.

The Laramie Boomerang reports (https://bit.ly/1Qe9Tng ) that according to a feedback report by the League of American Bicyclists, UW’s campus is a bronze-level campus for bikes.

The bronze designation means cyclists on UW’s campus may not feel entirely welcome, but the school is beginning to address the advocacy league’s concerns.

The report recommended UW adopt a guiding system for transportation planning authorities that focuses on safety for pedestrians and bicyclists.
