STORM LAKE, Iowa (AP) - A Storm Lake woman accused of helping to hide two grandchildren from Iowa authorities has pleaded not guilty to kidnapping.

Fifty-year-old Dionne Pamon entered pleas to the two counts Wednesday, and her trial is set to begin March 22.

The Sioux City Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1nCWbAT ) that the 1- and 3-year-old children were reported missing Dec. 14 after the family didn’t turn them over to the Iowa Human Services Department for a well-being examination. Authorities say the children were found later at the home of a relative who wasn’t aware of a court order regarding the children.

Court documents say Pamon helped hide the children from Dec. 4 to Dec. 14.
