MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) - More than 20,000 people from across the world are expected to attend the Original Miami Beach Antique Show.
The Miami Herald reports (https://hrld.us/1ncP1mC) the event starts Jan. 28 and runs until Feb. 1 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. It will feature antiques from nearly 1,000 international dealers.
Dan Darby, whose company is tasked with organizing the antique show, estimates that more than a billion dollars’ worth of merchandise will be on display. Items will range from decorative accessories, such as porcelains, oyster plates and perfume bottles, to large furnishings, such built-in bookcases and Victorian-era armoires.
Also, the 36th annual Miami Antique Toy Show will take place Jan. 31 in Hialeah. More than 50 antique toy dealers will display their goods.
