NEW YORK (AP) - Police are searching for a suspect following a shooting at an apartment building in Queens that left one woman dead and another woman injured.
Officers responding to the scene at about 11 a.m. Wednesday on Beach 32nd Street found a 51-year-old woman in the lobby with a gunshot wound to the hand.
The officers then entered an apartment and discovered a 36-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her torso. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute.
