NEW SALEM, Pa. (AP) - Three men have been jailed in a drive-by shooting police say targeted a Pennsylvania birthday party attended by children.
In all, state police say nine adults and seven children were in the Menallen Township house that was peppered with gunfire Tuesday night. Nobody was wounded.
Police say 22-year-old Patrick Dugan, of Uniontown, fired several shots into the house because he believed his friend was ripped off during a drug deal earlier in the evening.
That friend, 18-year-old Zachary Helisek, of Smock, has been jailed on the same charge. Also charged was 21-year-old Jordan Cicconi, of Smock.
Police say they caught Dugan and Cicconi when they drove back near the house shortly after the shooting, and they later caught up with Helisek.
