HOUSTON (AP) - A former guard at a federal prison camp in Central Texas has pleaded guilty to charges related to having sex with inmates.
Kendrick Desmond Brooks had been a guard at the federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas. U.S. Attorney Kenneth Magidson says the 45-year-old Bryan man pleaded guilty in a federal court in Houston on Friday to having a sexual relationship with an inmate.
Thomas admitted that he had sex on two occasions a female inmate.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 6, when he could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison and fined up to $250,000. He remains free on bond pending sentencing.
