PHOENIX (AP) - Police say they’ve identified a woman whose body was found on a Phoenix roadway.

They announced Friday that the body has been identified as 26-year-old Martika Moore.

The body was found around 6 a.m. Thursday near Northern and 29th avenues after police and fire officials responded to the area for a report of an injured person.

Police say although the cause of Moore’s death has not yet been determined, investigators are trying to uncover the circumstances surrounding her death.
