TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Search and rescue teams are looking for a hiker who went missing while on Mt. Lemmon.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says 30-year-old Christopher Paul Elia was reported missing Saturday afternoon when he failed to show up for dinner plans with family.

Authorities say Elia went to Mt. Lemmon around 2 p.m. to hike the Blue Spring Trail.

His family says Elia suffered a traumatic brain injury several years ago and needs to take seizure medication.

He is described as white, 5-foot-6, 140 pounds with short black hair and blue eyes.

He also has several tattoos including a map of Ireland on his chest and the words “Many Miles” on his feet.

This story has been corrected with new information from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department that the missing hiker’s age is 30, not 32, and his last name is Elia, not Elias.
