RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police say a West Virginia man has turned himself in after fleeing from a trooper during a traffic stop.

State Police said Sunday that Andrew Allen Arnold turned himself in on Saturday night. Police say the 28-year-old from White Sulphur Springs fled by foot after a trooper tried to make a traffic stop Saturday afternoon.

Police say Arnold has been charged with reckless driving and driving without a license as well as attempting to elude police. A state police spokeswoman said she didn’t know whether he had an attorney.
