ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Caricature artists around the country are planning to raise money for a fellow caricature artist who police say was stabbed in the neck and head with scissors by a co-worker at Universal Orlando Resort.

Glenn Ferguson’s boss says caricature artists plan to hold “Glenn-efits,” or benefits for Ferguson, to help him pay for his medical bills and other expenses.

The Orlando Sentinel (https://goo.gl/QyLlwD ) reports that the artists will do caricatures for donations from the public.

Ferguson’s boss, Stephen Fasen, also says at least $50,000 has been raised from a GoFundMe page created to help out Ferguson.

Frederick Torres was charged with attacking Ferguson at the Islands of Adventure park last week. Detectives say it was retaliation for being fired the day before.

Both artists draw caricatures at Universal’s parks but work for an outside firm.
