MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire authorities have seized 16 ½ pounds of methamphetamine worth $1 million in a drug bust involving a bar owner who’s been accused of selling the drug.
WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/29NHPKI) the Drug Enforcement Administration began an undercover investigation about a month ago, which led them to El Patron Sports Bar and Grill in Manchester.
Prosecutors said the owner, Rigoberto Ramirez Aldava, is a Mexican citizen and that he acquired meth from Mexico and then sold it to undercover agents in New Hampshire.
He was arraigned this week in federal court Tuesday on charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess the drug.
A message seeking comment was left with his attorney Wednesday.
