FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Authorities will consider criminal charges against a Fargo woman who threatened to shoot her neighbors and police officers.

Officers with assault rifles responded to the home about 9 p.m. Wednesday. They determined there was no threat and left the woman in the care of family about two hours later.

Lt. Chris Helmick says the woman who is believed to be in her 50s was drunk and upset for personal reasons.?

Helmick says police treated the situation similar to a February incident in which a man barricaded himself in his home and shot at officers, killing Officer Jason Moszer. Helmick says luckily, this situation didn’t end up like that.
