SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) - State regulators have approved the expansion at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Sioux City.
The Sioux City Journal reports (https://bit.ly/29Vucb9 ) that the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission voted Thursday for the $6.5 million, 7,800-foot expansion. The 2-year-old casino plans to add a high-stakes gambling area, a wine bar and a private lounge.
Casino general manager Todd Moyer thinks construction could begin within 30 days and be finished six months later.
