NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Nashville police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at the foot of a state building.

The Tennessean (https://tnne.ws/2a0T1W0 ) reports that officers responded to the scene early Thursday after receiving a report that a man jumped off the top of the William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Tower.

At the scene, crime scene tape surrounded a portion of the plaza entrance. A Metro police captain confirmed the body of a man had been found.



The man, who was found on the north side of the skyscraper, was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not immediately known how the man fell to his death and his identity is not yet known.
