OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police have released the name of a man who died after stabbing himself after being shot with a stun gun by an officer.

Police said Thursday that 35-year-old DeAngelo Webb died following the incident outside a convenience store.

Police also said Sgts. Jeff Sellers and Chris Lambert and Officer Jacob Thomas were involved and are on paid leave pending an investigation.

Officers were called to the store about 8 a.m. Wednesday by witnesses who reported a man acting strangely. Officers say they tried to talk to Webb when he threatened them with scissors.

Police say Webb was then shot with a stun gun and began stabbing himself before being handcuffed. He then began having trouble breathing and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
