NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Police Department says two bodies were found in separate Brooklyn parks over the weekend.

Police say the first one turned up around 2:15 p.m. Saturday in Brower Park. Officers found a 35-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive with no obvious signs of trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another body was found just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday at McCarren Park. Officers found an unconscious and unresponsive woman with no obvious signs of trauma. She also was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine what caused their deaths.

Authorities didn’t immediately identify either woman.
