TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A man has pleaded guilty to killing an Orting woman who was missing for two weeks last year before her decomposed body was found in a ravine.

The News Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2aeaqaB ) that Jonathan Daniel Harris, of Graham, pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder and assault charges in connection with the death of 28-year-old Nicole White. Pierce County prosecutors have agreed to seek a 26-year prison term for Harris when he’s sentenced in September as part of a plea deal.

White was last seen leaving a Spanaway bar on June 6, 2015, with Harris, whom she met through an online dating service. Detectives say Harris beat White to death, wrapped her in a tarp and rolled her body down a wooded ravine near Kapowsin.
