WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - A teenager has pleaded guilty in a fatal stabbing at a suburban New York park.

Acting Westchester County District Attorney James A. McCarty says 17-year-old Berinzon Moronta pleaded guilty Friday to manslaughter.

Tahj Robinson was mortally wounded on the night of Oct. 9 in Sleepy Hollow’s Barnhart Park.

Police say the defendant and others went into the park intending to hurt Robinson.

The Tarrytown resident faces up to 25 years to life in prison when he’s sentenced on Sept. 14.
