JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A woman’s body has been found following a house fire in Jacksonville.
Media outlets report that the fire was reported shortly before 3 a.m. Friday at a North Jacksonville home. The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department says firefighters responded to find a woman dead inside the building. Several dogs were also deceased.
Responders put out the fire in about 10 minutes. The Florida State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
Authorities have not identified the woman.
