GOLDSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Goldsboro police are investigating after the shooting death of an airman assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Local media outlets report that police responded to a shooting call at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers say they found 32-year-old Ryan Apollo Morgan suffering from gunshot wounds.

Morgan was taken to a hospital, where he later died. No arrests have been made, and authorities are still investigating the shooting.
