NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say seven people have been shot during a Fourth of July barbecue in New York City.

Police say the gunfire broke out around 11:30 p.m. Monday in Brooklyn. Four men and three women have injuries that police say aren’t life-threatening.

The victims are in their late teens to early 20s and police say they are all in stable condition.

Investigators say at least seven other people shot across the city on Monday night have injuries that aren’t life-threatening.
