Salaries for California’s top elected officials

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - The appointed Citizens Compensation Commission voted Wednesday to raise the salaries of statewide elected officials and lawmakers by 4 percent, effective Dec. 1. Here are the new salaries:

Governor $190,102

Lieutenant Governor $142,576

Attorney General $165,126

Controller $152,081

Treasurer $152,081

Secretary of State $142,576

Superintendent of Public Instruction $165,126

Insurance Commissioner $152,081

Member, Board of Equalization $142,576

Members, State Legislature $104,117

Assembly Speaker/Senate President Pro Tem $119,734

Minority Floor Leader $119,734

Majority Floor Leader $111,925

Second Ranking Minority Leader $111,925
