FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A Wheaton, Minnesota man accused of making threats about a shooting at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fargo has been fined $250.

Federal court documents say Tait Tracy demanded to see his social worker at the VA on February 13th. When he was told that wasn’t possible, he allegedly said he was going to return and “shoot the place up.”

Tracy told police he did not nothing wrong. He said he got into a conversation about politics with somebody at the hospital’s main desk and left the facility. During his sentencing hearing, Tracy admitted he made “disruptive statements” at the hospital.

Tracy pleaded guilty last month to disorderly conduct.
