BEATRICE, Neb. (AP) - The Most Intrepid Western Author’s Posse will be sharing tales of the Old West Saturday at the Homestead National Monument of America’s Education Center near Beatrice.

The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The monument sits four miles west of Beatrice, along Nebraska Highway 4.

The posse is composed of five authors who love to tell tales - some true, some with a twist. The authors are Kellen Cutsforth, Chris Enss, Bill Markley, Monty McCord and Sherry Monahan. Their books will be for sale through the Homestead Bookstores and the authors will be available to sign them.
