HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - More than 100 Alabama Army National Guard soldiers have returned home from deployment overseas.

Several news organizations report that relatives welcomed about 114 soldiers home in a Saturday morning ceremony at Huntsville International Airport. The soldiers are part of A Company 136th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, based in Arab, Alabama.

They deployed in July 2015 to support missions throughout Southwest Asia in seven different countries. The men and women helped other military units with tactical and strategic communication.

The soldiers arrived from Fort Hood, where they had been debriefed for several days.
