PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Maine’s largest city is holding its 43rd annual celebration of summer and its historic downtown.

The Old Port Festival is taking place on Sunday starting at 11 a.m. The festival is a day of music and art in Portland’s redbrick downtown.

The event will begin with a parade at 11 a.m. and will include seven stages of music and entertainment, children’s amusements and more than 200 booths with food and crafts.



The festival runs until 5 p.m., although the Casco Bay Eye Ferris Wheel will be running until 8 p.m.
