ST. ALBANS, Vt. (AP) - Vermont state police have charged a New Hampshire driver with negligent operation after clocking the motorist driving 107 mph on Interstate 89 in St. Albans.
Authorities say 22-year-old Lauren Wilmot of Nashua, New Hampshire, is due to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on July 25.
State police say they pursued the white Toyota Corolla after first clocking it at 102 mph. They say the driver hit 107 mph prior to the stop at about 6 p.m. on Saturday.
A working phone number for Wilmot could not be located.
