PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police are investigating the overnight shooting deaths of two people, including a 12-year-old girl.

Police spokesman Jonathan Howard says officers were called to a shooting at a home around 3 a.m. Sunday in the area of Berkeley Road and 63rd Avenue.

Upon arrival, police found three people with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle parked in a driveway.



Howard says a 31-year-old woman and the girl were pronounced dead.

The third victim, a 33-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

According to witnesses, a man was seen leaving the area in a light-colored vehicle after shots were fired.

Police have not identified a suspect.

Howard says investigators are working to determine a motive.
