ENFIELD, Conn. (AP) - Two people have died in unrelated motorcycle accidents in Connecticut.
Authorities say a 48-year-old woman was killed and a man seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 91 south in Enfield on Monday morning.
Caroline Mcallister of Milford died. She was a passenger in a motorcycle driven by 49-year-old Randal Ruelle of Milford, who was injured.
In the other crash, a 24-year-old man died when his motorcycle collided with a Land Rover in Monroe at about 7 p.m. Monday.
Forrest Ryan’s motorcycle was headed north on Route 25 when it crossed into the southbound lanes and was struck by the oncoming Land Rover.
Two of three occupants in the Land Rover were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
