UTICA, N.Y. (AP) - State police say they’ve charged two men with committing more than a dozen burglaries at homes and businesses in central New York over a 10-day span.

Troopers say 14 burglaries were committed from June 1 through last Friday throughout northern Oneida and Herkimer counties. Police executed a search warrant at a location in Utica and recovered various items from the burglaries.

Troopers say their investigation led to the arrest of two suspects, a 27-year-old man from Lowville and a 22-year-old man from Utica. Both have been charged with burglary.

The case also resulted in child endangerment charges against a 27-year-old Utica woman. Troopers say the woman was charged after her two children were removed from the family’s home and turned over to family members. No details were released by police.
