PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona attorney general’s office has sued a Scottsdale auto glass firm for allegedly making hundreds of telemarketing and automated phone calls to residents who have signed up for the National Do Not Call Registry.
The lawsuit announced by Attorney General Mark Brnovich Tuesday is the second against an auto glass firm in recent weeks that alleges violations of the state’s telephone solicitation laws.
The suit seeks a court order blocking Larmore Auto Glass LLC from calling Arizonans on the Do Not Call list and seeks civil penalties and attorney costs. The company does business as O’Reilly’s Auto Glass and Freedom Auto Glass. It is not affiliated with O’Reilly Auto Parts.
The previous suit sought similar orders against Prescott Valley-based AJ’s Auto Glass.
