MAGNOLIA, Del. (AP) - Authorities say a 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was rescued from a burning home in Magnolia.

The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal said in a statement that firefighters called to the home on Orange Street around 7 a.m. Thursday found smoke pouring from the house.

Firefighters rescued the teen and officials say he was rushed to Kent General Hospital in critical condition from smoke inhalation.
