COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Police say a 16-year-old boy has been shot to death in Ohio’s capital city.
Columbus police say officers responded to a report of a shooting at around 8:30 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, they found Damien Tesfai with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Elijah Morgan on a reckless homicide charge in the shooting.
Authorities say it’s the 44th homicide of the year in Columbus.
