FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Fargo officials have approved a series of bids adding up to nearly $22.5 million for the community’s new city hall.

KFGO-AM (https://bit.ly/1YcyZrW ) reports that the Fargo City Commission approved the bids Monday. The city has spent three years planning for the new facility.

Bids for the project came in at more than $30 million last year, and officials had to ask the architect to develop a cheaper design.

The bids approved Tuesday include general, mechanical and electrical work.
