ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Another arrest has been made in the fatal drive-by shooting of an Albuquerque teenager last summer.
Albuquerque police say 19-year-old Dominic Conyers turned himself in and was booked into jail Thursday on a warrant.
He’s being held on suspicion of an open count of murder, shooting at or from a motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit a first- or second-degree felony.
It’s unclear if he has a lawyer yet.
Police say shots were fired from a vehicle at a home on June 26 and 17-year-old Jaydon Chavez-Silver was killed.
The arrest comes as 18-year-old Donovan Maes, 21-year-old Christopher Cruz and 16-year-old boy are awaiting trial in the shooting.
Maez is the son of former Democratic Rep. Stephanie Maez of Albuquerque. The lawmaker resigned from the Legislature late last year.
