ERIE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities have charged five adults in connection with the slaying of two teens in northwestern Pennsylvania last summer.
The Erie Times-News (https://bit.ly/1UYjXEx ) says Erie police and the district attorney were expected to release additional information Friday.
For now, investigators aren’t releasing the names of the adult suspects who police Chief Randy Bowers says were being rounded up Friday morning.
Sixteen-year-olds Shakur Franklin and Elijah Jackson were standing with several others following an all-star high school football game on July 24 when shots rang out.
Four other boys, ages 13 to 17, were wounded, all in the legs.
