GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The University of North Dakota men’s hockey team is beginning what it hopes will be another march to the NCAA Frozen Four.

The Fighting Hawks host Colorado College in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference quarterfinals this weekend. The series beginning Friday is best-of-three. The winner advances to the NCHC Frozen Faceoff at the Target Center in Minneapolis the following weekend.

UND is ranked No. 2 in the country in both national polls.

UND has seven national titles to its credit and has made it to the NCAA Frozen Four seven times in the past 11 seasons. But UND hasn’t won a national championship since 2000. The team lost in the semifinals last year.
