MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Enthusiasts of old houses and barns can explore garden, architecture, history and preservation strategies at an expo this weekend in Manchester.
More than 60 exhibitors and traditional arts demonstrators are participating at the Old House & Barn Expo at the Radisson/Center of New Hampshire.
Presenters include James Garvin, architectural historian and author of “A Building History of Northern New England;” Gordon Hayward, garden designer and long-time writer for Horticulture Magazine; Howard Mansfield, previewing his newest book, “Sheds: Unexpected Lessons from Ordinary Shelter;” and Richard Nylander, curator emeritus, Historic New England and authority on historic wallpapers, who has advised White House restorations.
It’s presented by the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance.
