BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Twin Falls County authorities say a teenager has died after being seriously injured in a horse riding accident near Buhl.

KTVB-TV reports (https://goo.gl/UQvhI0 ) that 17-year-old Harley McDaniel died at a Boise hospital Monday, one day after the incident.

The county sheriff’s office says McDaniel had been riding a horse when she lost control of the animal and fell off. The girl’s foot got caught in the stirrup and she was trampled by the horse.

The girl’s mother, Mary Taylor, told the hospital her daughter wanted to be an organ donor.
