The 408-foot spire at the World Trade Center site will shine in the colors of the Belgian flag Tuesday night as a gesture of solidarity with America’s NATO ally, which was hit by an Islamist terror attack earlier in the day.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued the order for One World Trade Center — built on the site of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack — to light up in black, yellow and red after sundown.

More than 30 people were killed in Tuesday morning bomb attacks, for which the Islamic State quickly took credit, at the Brussels airport and on its subway system.

“Once again, our world has endured another senseless tragedy due to the cowardly acts of truly evil people, but the global community remains united,” Mr. Cuomo said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.
