WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that injured a woman.
The department says in a news release that officers were called to North Jefferson Street early Tuesday for a report of shots fired. Officers did not find a shooting victim.
Minutes later, a 21-year-old woman was taken to Wilmington Hospital by private vehicle. Police say she had a gunshot wound to her right arm. She is in good condition.
Police have no information about a suspect and the shooting is under investigation.
