LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - An 18-year-old woman, her mom and some friends have helped Lincoln police find and recover her stolen car.
The woman reported her car stolen early Saturday morning from the same parking lot where her keys had been stolen the day before. Then on Monday night she spotted someone driving her car. She followed the car to an intersection, where her mom and some friends boxed it in.
Officers soon arrived and arrested a 23-year-old woman, who told the officers she didn’t know the car was stolen. She was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property and a controlled substance.
