IPSWICH, S.D. (AP) - A drug bust in Edmunds County netted 6 pounds of marijuana.

Sheriff Todd Holtz says it’s probably the biggest dope-growing operation ever found in the county. He calls it “a significant distribution point.”

The bust began with a traffic stop on Monday in which marijuana was found. It led to search warrants being issued for three homes in Ipswich.

Four people have been arrested in the case - the motorist and the three homeowners. The American News reports (https://bit.ly/1MnwKyr ) that the homeowners are in their late 50s and early 60s.
