WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say an infant died at a Webster City hospital after being found unresponsive.
Police and paramedics were sent to check on the child around 9:50 Sunday morning. The child was taken to Van Diest Medical Center and pronounced dead.
The Messenger reports (https://bit.ly/1pUb6bq ) that the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has joined local authorities in their probe of the child’s death.
