SANTA ROSA, Calif. (AP) - A woman has been hospitalized and three families have been displaced following an apartment fire in Northern California.

The Press Democrat reports (https://bit.ly/22HhmEJ ) that Rincon Valley firefighters say two of four connected units at a small Santa Rosa apartment complex were completely engulfed in flames Sunday evening.

Capt. Mark Dunn says oxygen tanks were found in the home of the woman who was burned. Her name and condition were not available Sunday.

Dunn says the oxygen might not have caused the fire but could have contributed to its intensity.

He says firefighters were able to save two puppies from the complex and keep the fire from spreading further.

The Red Cross is helping families displaced by the fire.
