WANCHESE, N.C. (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard has towed a disabled fishing boat with three people aboard to a Dare County dock.

The Coast Guard office in Portsmouth, Virginia said crews received a report late Sunday morning about the boat that was about 40 miles east-southeast of Oregon Inlet.

The crew of the 32-foot Miss Lilah reported their vessel was disabled.

A 47-foot boat was launched from Coast Guard Station Oregon Inlet and reached the disabled boat around 2 p.m. The fishing boat was towed and reached Wanchese about 9 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The names of those on the boat were not released.
