WOODRUFF, S.C. (AP) - Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies say the death of a woman whose body was found last week in some woods near Woodruff is being investigated as a homicide.
Sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Bobo says the body of 44-year-old Dawn Michelle Harper was found last Friday. Harper was last seen alive March 17.
Bobo says authorities are not yet releasing the cause of death because of the ongoing investigation.
