SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A downtown Salt Lake City fire temporarily shut down Main Street, but crews quickly put out the flames and no serious injuries were reported.
About 70 firefighters from Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake attacked the blaze at the Utah Film Center around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Salt Lake City Fire Department Captain Mark Bednarik says the flames were contained to the building, although nearby structures might have smoke damage.
UFC Executive Director Elisabeth Nebeker says the damage seems extensive and she isn’t sure what’s next for the nonprofit.
Main Street was reopened around 6:40 a.m.
